Pros and Cons about Self tanner?
I use to tan in the tanning beds quite a bit, but I thought about the damage I was doing my skin ( it's proved to be more dangerous than the sun ) Skin cancers are increasing more than 50% and People have been losing eye sight from beds! I lost some of my eyesight in the tanning bed, not lots but i need to wear glasses to read now and the doctor said the tanning bed probably had a toll on my eyes.
I started using a self tanner, because well I like having that tanned look and it makes me look healthier. I'm just wondering the pros and cons of self tanners. And can you use self tanner on your face because i did today ( a very light coat and made sure it was even and applied it everywhere )
Also i'm using the build your tan... not your actual self tanner and in 8 hours POOF your tanned it's just the aveeno moisturaizer that will "even out your skin tone" and build a tan.

Hey, alright I have had some troubles with self tanners. First of all, a con is that there is a possibility of looking orange. Also, when the Fake Tan starts to fade, you might look dirty. I have been using a Jergens tanning lotion.. for medium skin tones, and it works awesome, and it is just a gradual tanner so it's not instant orange. You can see the beginning of the tan a couple hours later.. Whatever you do, do NOT get one that is a straight up tan in a bottle, they go on like a moisturizer, you can't tell where you've already put it, and you look like an orange freak. ha ha. Hope that helps a bit x0
