Are their any benefits to tanning at a tanning salon?
I know that tanning in a tanning bed increases your chance for skin cancer, but are there any good benefits to tanning? I have heard that it is good to tan to help lift your spirits or it has a slimming effect. Any suggestions?
You can effectively elevate your mood and get the vitamin D you need by being in the mild sun for 10 minutes a day. This differs from tanning. Tanning in injuring your skin. I went to Tanning Beds in my 20s and I have now had 4 basil cell carcenomas carved out of my skin....not fun, nor pretty. Think twice about tanning beds.
