Tanning myths/facts? confused!
OK,
I have an olive skin, do i do tan pretty good and it as well looks right on me. I know about all the tanning dangers and all.
I used to tan few years ago for a few times in a tanning bed untill I looked deep brown. I finished tanning and still looked this way for 1-2 month, just kept on moisturising my body to keep it up.
Now its been a while since I visited a Tanning Beds, I do, thought always use a sun-screen in a day time on the regular.
Do you guys think its ok if I just do 2-3 tanning sessions for about 10 mins each in hight pressure and then take a month of break again?
How much harm wud it really do?
I have a relative, shes 80 yo lady, she sits on the sun like every afternoon without lotion and never has any trouble with her skin, sp can lets say, my genetics affter my good condition of skin regardless of tanning?
I wouldn't. Tanning beds are greatly going to increase the chance of developing melanoma, the deadliest skin cancer. Plus the damage is going to cause your skin to hyperpigment, look dull, lose its elasticity, and develop wrinkles. For me, I want to look good even when I am 40. It's up to you if you want to look better now but pay later for it. I suggest a self-tanner instead.
