Has anyone had Herpes on their upper butt /lower back area?
The outbreak is in a non-sexual area. Are there many people out there experiencing this and how could this happen? I always thought it was from a tanning bed....is this a possibility? Any ideas on what causes frequent outbreaks while taking daily medication?
Herpes infects the sacral ganglia nerves, so you can get an outbreak anywhere from the waist down, though the boxer short area is the most common.
You didn't get this from a tanning bed. You got this from sexual contact.
If you are on daily meds, and still getting frequent obs, you should check with your doc to make sure nothing else is going on, like another std or yeast or bacterial vaginosis. You might also need to go to a higher dose.
