First time tanning questions...?
I'm pretty pale, 17, and I tend to to tan after I burn (when I go to the beach). It's my first time going to a tanning bed and I have some questions...
1) I know acrylic nails turn yellowish, do solar nails?
2) how many times a week should I go to the tanning bed?
3) how long should I tan for?
4) what do i use before I go tan (such as lotions, tanning oils, etc)?
5) where can I get those products?
6) this maybe a stupid question but are you supposed to switch positions in the tanning bed (like lay on your back at first, then lay on your stomach)?

1) Yes but they sell nail covers at tanning salons or Sally's.
2) Every other day. Mon, Wed, Fri for example.
3) Start off going 4 minutes. At the end of the week if you do not burn you can increase your time 2 minutes. Do this every week until you reach the 20 min max time.
4)The tanning salon sells bottles and packets of lotions to use. I recommend trying the packets to see what lotion you like before committing to buying a bottle because they can be expensive.
5)At the tanning salon.
6)What I do is one day I will lay on my back the next day I lay on my stomach with my arms in a superman position to get my underarms. This will also keep you from getting the pressure point white spots on your back.
