The beautiful young woman with melanoma mentioned by Donna M died yesterday. Her name was Clare Oliver.

Before her death she campaigned for women to protect their health and their lives, and to ban Tanning Beds/solaria [plural of solarium].

I'm not saying you have to agree with me, but I implore you to investigate the dangers of exposing your skin to excessive UV rays for yourself.
I am so sorry to read about her death. I agree with you about tanning salons and the dangers that most people are not aware of. I have a couple of friends that went weekly to the salon and they each have had several patches of skin cancer removed from their face. What a tragedy. Thanks for the links.
